Montego Bay High School is the first government-owned, all-girls high school in Jamaica, established in 1935 by the Government of Jamaica. One of the core values at Montego Bay High School for Girls is the belief that everyone deserves access to a high quality education. Our commitment is to create that opportunity for all current and future students. We are always appreciative of support from our MBHS community, which helps us provide an exceptional educational experience.

Hurricane Melissa has left a profound impact on Montego Bay High School for Girls and the broader community that surrounds us. Families, students, staff, alumnae, and neighbors are facing the challenges of loss, displacement, and uncertainty. In this difficult time, we stand united with everyone working to recover and rebuild.
As we focus on repairing and restoring our school, we remain deeply aware that many in our community are also piecing their lives back together.
We are calling on alumnae, parents, friends, partners, and supporters everywhere to join us in this effort. Your generosity will help us restore our learning environment and continue fulfilling our mission of excellence and service.
Together, we can rise above this moment. Every contribution—large or small—brings us one step closer to rebuilding stronger, safer, and better than before. Thank you for standing with us.
